Total Eclipse of the Moon
The last total lunar eclipse until 2010 occurred Wednesday night. Saturn and the bright star Regulus could also be seen. It was a perfect night on the Mighty Miramichi for viewing the eclipse. I've attached some photos I took below.
The Earth's shadow starting to cover the moon:

Just a small slice of light shining through:

And finally, the total eclipse! The moon gave off a reddish glow while in the Earth's full shadow:
