This nature trail has a number of explanatory plaques pointing out features of various species of softwood, animal life, facts about glaciation, and the legend of Sheephouse Brook. Of specific interest are the Sheephouse Falls and the trunk of a 350-year-old white pine near the entrance of the trail.
