Mr. Francis James Taylor, husband of Mary Theresa (Gardiner) Taylor of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, formerly of Old King George hwy, Miramichi passed away Monday evening at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, at the age of 74. Born in Renous NB, he was the don of the late Frederick and Mary Jane (Duffy) Taylor. He was a laborer and janitor for the former Low Tide & High Tide. He was a member of St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
Besides his wife Mary he is survived by five daughters, Maria West of Miramichi, Louise Lyons (Jack) of Burton NB, Deborah Estey (Allan) of Halifax, Eva Brown Collins of Miramichi, Sandra Worrall (Steven) of Miramichi, one son Roger (Mary) Brown of Dartmouth, two sisters, Hazel Whalen (Terry) of Miramichi, Helen McGrath (Joe) of Miramichi ,1 foster sister, Mary Rose Wilt (Wayne) of Riverview, two brothers, Edward (Laurie) of C I Road, Clarence (Gloria) of Miramichi, 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one infant sister Theresa.
Mr. Francis James Taylor will be resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Tom Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Miramichi Cemetery. At the request of the family donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, NB Alzheimer’s Society or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
