Mr. Benjamin Lenard Kenna, husband of Pamela Kenna of Russellville Road, Russellville NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday October 12, 2017 at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late William and Janet (Lumsden) Kenna. He was retired from Natural Resources Maintenance and a mechanic at Flett Motors; he was also an avid music fan and dart player.
Besides his wife Pamela, he is survived by his daughter; Wanda Leigh McKellar (Keith) of Stevensville, ON, step daughter; Tania Taekema (Phil) of Shediac Bridge, NB: his sons; Benjamin Troy of Shirkston ON and Logan Thomas of Ottawa, ON; his sisters; Kay Hare of Norwest, Clara Savage of Russellville, Marilyn Kennedy of Niagara Falls and Joyce Carroll of Miramichi, his brothers; Irving of Woodstock and Merle of Miramichi, 5 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, first wife Evelyn, step daughter Tara, Sister; Marie and Brothers; Bill, Guy and Winston.
Mr. Benjamin Lenard Kenna is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bartibog Bridge, with Father Anthony Papu officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
