Event Details - Miramichi Historical Society Event - Guided Walk o

Monday September 16 at 2 p.m. - MIRAMICHI HISTORICAL SOCIETY EVENT

There will be a guided walk through the St. James and St. John United Church graveyard. The walk of about 1 hour will include the more interesting types of gravestones favoured in the past and some personalities of Miramichi history who were laid to rest in this cemetery. The earliest date is 1813, which predates the Miramichi Fire of 1825 and the destruction of the first church built on the site. Barbara MacIntosh and Manford Wasson will lead the walk. Please meet at the church yard. 551 King George Highway. All welcome. Bring a friend.
