Event Details - The Novaks - Unplugged! With special guest Matt St

The Novaks are currently touring their special "Unplugged" show, a throwback to the 1989-1999 MTV series. The group are performing their standard repertoire acoustically, with additional classic covers from this era.
The Novaks are a Rock & Roll band from St. John's, Newfoundland. Established in 2002, the group has toured Canada, the US, & England, including dates with Queens of the Stone Age, White Stripes & KISS. In May they opened for The Cult in their hometown of St. John's.

Matt Steele blends the soul-searching songwriting of Tom Petty with the frazzled power-pop of Elvis Costello, retaining just a tinge of his moonshine-soaked Kentucky roots. His latest album with the band Matt Steele & The Corvette Sunset, 2018's “Half Girl Half Ghost,” is a surprisingly vulnerable and honest look at coping with emotional turmoil, and the doubt, anxiety and heartbreak that comes with navigating relationships. In 2019, Matt has been shedding his usual rowdy rock n roller live act for a series of quieter, though no less confident, performances.
