Nature Miramichi’s guest speaker at the April 4th meeting is David Mazerolle, an ecosystems scientist and botanist with Parks Canada.
“My talk will focus on climate change adaptation approaches in the conservation of species at risk in coastal and forested habitats. The title would be ‘Impacts of Climate Change and Related Major Storm Events on our Rare Plants & Lichens: Conservation Approaches in a Rapidly Changing Environment’.
As an added bonus side-show, I could also present some nice spring wildflower photos if we have time.”
