Helen Eileen Sutherland wife of the late Edward Sutherland of Lyttleton NB passed away Friday April 14, 2023 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 99.

Born in Lyttleton NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Blackmore) Mutch. She was a homemaker and a member of Lyttleton Pentecostal Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by two sons, Maynard (Valerie) Sutherland of Halcomb NB and Vaden (Cora) Sutherland of Lyttleton NB, her nephew Laurie Mutch (Mary) of Sunny Corner NB, five grandchildren, Teri Lynn (Sandy), Treena, Jodie (Billy), Joshua (Monique) and Philip (Angela), eight great grandchildren, Cody, Luke, Ella, William, Jase, Parker, Jorina and Jaxon.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by twelve brothers and sisters.

Helen Eileen Sutherland is resting at Lyttleton Pentecostal Church with visitation on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 20, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at Lyttleton Pentecostal Church with Pastor Vaden Sutherland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.

In her memory, donations to Haiti Orphanage would be appreciated by the family.
